Thank you VANCOUVER!

The Arts Benevolence League’s inaugural SPECTACTION Benefit Party was held this past Saturday, December 19th 2009. Talk about a SHAKER!

Our aim with this event was to create something new in the Vancouver landscape, something that excites people about the concept of charitable involvement. The Art Show was stunning and provocative, the music was awesome, the live performances were off the HOOK, the venue was gorgeous, and best of all, the vibe and the crowd were amazing. I think it’s safe to say “mission accomplished”!

We were able to raise a bunch of money for Camp Goodtimes (exact figures are being calculated as we speak), the Canadian Cancer Society’s summer camp program for kids with cancer. These kinds of contributions really make a significant impact for causes like Camp Goodtimes, especially given the current economic climate. We deserve a pat on the back Vancouver!
